Getting Started
A: Your job options with us are as flexible as you are. We offer positions that are per diem, temporary, or even permanent. We have traveling nurse options and more. Complete your online application and speak to a recruiter to learn more.
A: We build relationships with medical facilities, nursing homes and assisted living nationwide, so our service area is not restricted to a particular region.
A: You will never owe us any fees during any part of your time with us, and speaking with one of our recruiters in no way obligates you to work with us at any point.
A: Once you submit your application, we assess your responses and assign you to the appropriate member of our team. Within 24-48 hours, one of our consultants will contact you to discuss any questions you may have and to learn more about your unique qualifications.
A: When you accept job assignments through us, you are an employee of Triune Consultants. Your pay comes directly from us after we deduct the appropriate taxes and benefits selections.
Traveling as a Health Care Professional
A: Traveling is a great way to expand your professional knowledge in different clinical settings, to explore the country, or simply to seek out the opportunities that pay the most. Many individuals prefer traveling for a combination of these reasons.
A: Applicants must hold a degree from an accredited health care program in the United States or Canada, and have at least one year of experience in acute care in the field relevant to the job. Physical therapists are eligible for travel as soon as they receive a license. However, some facilities will place additional experience requirements. Contact your recruiter to learn more.
A: We work quickly to discuss your candidacy and check your references. If your paperwork is in order and you hold the appropriate license, you could begin your first travel nurse assignment in as little time as one week.
A: No. You only sign agreements for each individual position you choose to accept.
A: On average, travel assignments are for 13 weeks. However, we offer longer and shorter assignments as well, including permanent positions. Ask your recruiter for more details.
A: We offer shifts in hourly increments of 8, 10, and 12, during both days and nights. However, the availability depends on the needs of the particular facility to which you are assigned.
A: It is your obligation to the facility and to Triune Consultants to complete your assignment. We provide support to help you with any concerns and to make your experience as positive as possible. At the end of the assignment, you will have the choice to extend the assignment or move to a new location.
A: If your facility decides to extend your assignment, you can choose to accept or decline the offer. If the facility does not extend the assignment, we will help you find a new assignment. We will stay in touch with you and provide support throughout the duration of your assignment. Towards the end of each assignment, we’ll begin discussing what you’d like to do next.
A: Yes. Many of our applicants actually prefer this option. We offer housing assistance, but if you choose to find your own housing, we pay a housing per diem amount in your weekly check to offset your costs. Speak with your consultant to learn more about availability and specific details per assignment.
A: Just ask your consultant. We are constantly working to find new opportunities, and if you have something in mind that hasn’t yet made it to our website, we may be able to help. Our goal is to help you find the perfect position for you.
A: The actual amount of hours will depend on the job and the facility, but most assignments generally guarantee between 36 and 42 hours per week.
A: Yes. Once you have received your license and begun your assignment, send copies of your license and receipts for the associated fees and we will directly reimburse these costs to you.
Compensation and Benefits
A: We offer some of the industry’s most competitive compensation. Your pay will vary according to your modality, experience, specialty, and the facility where you work. Each of our positions offers differing rates of pay, which is why we work closely with you to find the job that best suits your needs.
A: You will be paid weekly through direct deposit.
A: We gladly offer a refer-a-friend bonus program when you refer individuals who begin employment with us. Once your referral completes either their first assignment for first few weeks of permanent employment, you receive a bonus of $350-$1,000 depending on their specialty area and modality.
A: We withhold all necessary taxes and issue you an annual W-2 from each state where you’ve worked in a given tax year. You are not classified as an independent contractor.
A: Yes. Ask your recruiter about the details and benefits of working as an independent contractor.
A: Yes we do offer Medical and Dental insurance on 1st of the month after 30 days of employment.
A: Yes. You may add your spouse and eligible dependents when you select your insurance plan. Simply fill out the appropriate forms to designate the correct premium on your chosen program option.
